Circuit breakers are divided into oil circuit breakers, air circuit breakers, sulfur hexafluoride circuit breakers and vacuum circuit breakers according to the type of medium. Let’s take a look at the electrical test items to be done before and after the circuit breaker is overhauled.
Test items before circuit breaker overhaul:
(1) Opening and closing time and speed measurement;
(2) Conductive loop resistance measurement;
(3) Measure the contact finger pressure of opening and closing;
(4) Measure the positioning clearance of the closing buffer and the compression stroke of the piston;
(5) Measurement of water content and leakage of sulfur hexafluoride gas.

Test items after short circuit breaker overhaul:
(1) Vacuumize and fill with sulfur hexafluoride gas when the vacuum is good;
(2) Carry out partial bandage leak detection or buckle cover leak detection and measure the moisture content of sulfur hexafluoride gas;
(3) Measure comprehensive parameters such as opening time, three-phase synchronicity, operating voltage, and energy storage time;
(4) Record the speed curve of the circuit breaker;
(5) Carry out overall and partial insulation tests.
